Item Open Access University student’s Cognitive Motivation(Université de M'sila, 2021) بديعة بوعليThis study purpose, is to determine cognitive motivation level of students in the Social Sciences Department at the University of Oum El Bouaghi, by applying descriptive approach. 150 students were used as samples for this study. The two researchers had designed the cognitive motivation scale. For the research’s data processing, the following statistical methods had been adopted: Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient, Spearman's Rank Correlation Coefficient, Cronbach's Alpha, Percentages, Arithmetic Mean, Frequencies, Standard Deviation, One-way analysis of variance, Two-way analysis of variance, T-test and Scheffe's Test. Study’s results are as follows: Cognitive motivation level among Social Sciences Department students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Larbi Ben M’Hidi University, has been revealed high. There are differences, which had been disclosed, due to specialty and gender variables. In cognitive motivation, there is no interaction effect between the two specialty and gender variables
