The aim of this study was to shed light on the vital role that strategic alliances play in the expansion and global proliferation of companies and organizations in today's business world. In order to understand the role of alliance strategy in global expansion, two Algerian industrial companies were selected: SAIDAL Pharmaceutical Group and the National Company for Industrial Vehicles (SNVI). A descriptive approach was used in this study. The study concluded that both companies face increasing challenges related to competitiveness, innovation, and expansion into new markets. In order to achieve a competitive advantage and create added value, they resorted to establishing strategic alliances with numerous global institutions and companies. This helped the companies, especially SAIDAL Pharmaceutical Group, penetrate new markets, making them leading industrial companies nationally
