Abstract
Infrastructure projects are a key pillar in the development process of any country. However, the magnitude of the funding it needs has become a major financial burden on state budgets, which has to find alternative ways to finance and construct such projects, notably partnership with the private sector.
The BOT system is one of the most important forms of participation of the private sector in the construction of development projects. It has been accepted and received by many countries in the world due to its contribution to alleviating the financial burden on the public budgets of these countries and also opening the way for the private sector as a trader New in the field of infrastructure, which gives expertise and quality in the field, after it was the monopoly of the state.
