Abstract
In this work, we studied the impact of the municipal budget in achieving local development by highlighting the concepts of the budget and its principles and the great role in achieving local development of various kinds .we also touched on the concept of local development and its principles in addition to the most important strategies and goals that are based on clarifying the relationship between the municipal budget and local development in which the budget is important, and this is from 2020 to 2023. As it is the budget of the municipality of khabana, it plays a pivotal role in promoting local development by financing projects that improve infrastructure and provide basic services such as health, education and transport. This budget supports the local economy by encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises, which creates new jobs and promotes economic growth in the region. It also contributes to the improvement of public services such as hygiene and recreational facilities and promotes good urban planning to achieve sustainable and balanced development. In addition, the budget of the municipality of Al-khabana enables an effective response to crises and promotes community participation, which enhances citizens ' sense of belonging and responsibility. In short, the budget of the municipality of khabana is a key tool for achieving local development and improving the quality of life in society.
