This thesis presents the performance study of solar PV power plants according to the IEC 61724 standard. In order to analyze and evaluate the performance of two grid-connected photovoltaic power plants in different environments, one in Nouakchott Mauritania of 15 MWp and the other of 30 MWp in Saïda Algeria. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of the environment on the production and performance of these installations, which use different technologies and are of different sizes. The influence of climatic conditions, specifically the increase in ambient temperature, on the decrease in power plant performance, which varies from 61% to 71% for Nouakchott and from 77.08% to 90.26% for the Saïda plant. Finally, we developed an innovative software package called PVPA, which is designed to analyze the performance of PV plants quickly and easily, using data recorded from these plants in accordance with the IEC 61724 standard, to facilitate the processing of big data. A case study of a 13 MWp PV power plant in Tamanrasset, Algeria, is presented in this study.en_US
