dc.description.abstract | In this paper, it is aimed to identify the linguistic and the communicative needs of the business professional at Dubai business district in El Eulma. For this reason, a hypothesis was formulated to claim that the main reason behind learning English is for business sake and thus social survival is eliminated. Data were gathered via questionnaires and interviews and findings have revealed that there is no significance difference between the two samples means, i.e. business English is as equal in importance as general English and thus the hypothesis was refuted. Suggestions for further research in addition to recommendations about course design components have concluded this paper | en_US |
