dc.description.abstractThe present research paper is principally intended to comprehensively examine the contribution of John Locke’s Philosophy to the emergence of the American Republic and Democracy. The American founding fathers learnt from Locke the theory of the social contract as well as his concept of revolution .In other words, the article is an attempt to show that Locke's philosophy is one of the fundamental roots of the modern American political Thought.en_US
