Item Open Access Etude et conception de biocapteurs à base de Cristaux photoniques unidimensionnels(Université Mohamed Boudiaf - M’sila, 2018) ALLAL, SAIDThe properties of photonic crystals structure interesting for many applications in integrated optics. Potential applications of photonic band gap materials are many and varied: production of resonant cavities of very small size, waveguides, turns, splitters, selective filters, optical fibers and sensors. In this context, the aim of this thesis is to study and design of one -dimensional photonic crystal (PhC-1D) sensors for application in integrated optics. The goal of this study is to exploit one-dimensional photonic crystals as a biosensor to generate permitted modes in the photonic band gap region for recording different concentrations of glucose solution. A refractive index (RI) biosensor based on a cavity realized by the local width modulation of a defect. The aim is to improve the sensitivity and limit of detection of these biosensors as a function of the physical and geometrical parameters. In order to acquire the high sensitivity and transmission of this biosensor simultaneously. Our improvement focused on the optimization of the number of layers, the excitation angle φ (°), and the location of a fault on the BIP in the two modes of excitation (TE and TM) in order to record the different concentrations of glucose solution. To perform these simulations we used software of Rsoft CAD. The biosensor is very sensitive to the variation of RI in the air layer and can be optimized to achieve a wide measuring range and high sensitivity. A sensitivity of 1118 nm / RIU was calculated for an index change of 0.001 RIU.
