this research paper aims at yielding beneficial and effective proposals inspired by
organizational problems and structural obstacles in the algerian insurance sector. this study
comes in line with legislative developments and deep changes experienced the industry of our
country. the underwriting activity in algeria has witnessed concrete changes recently between
1995-2012 regarding the volume of cross premiums written, density ratio, penetration rate.
these circumstances indicate the ambition of concerned parties to create radical changes in
insurance sector.
