This study attempts to investigate the two gender perceptions of (im)polite request . The aim of this study is to identify the nature of the link between the studied variables. Moreover, in order to achieve the objectives of this investigation, a descriptive method was used. This paper relies on Brown & Levinson's interpretation of linguistic politeness.
