This work is a contribution to the evaluation of photovoltaic solar energy in different African countries and the study of a photovoltaic project in typical regions, we used the PVsyst software. We carried out a detailed study on solar energy, we presented the fundamental notions concerning the principle of the photovoltaic t-effect, the solar potential and the different technologies of solar cells. And we established a study comparing electricity production in different African countries, which allowed us to better understand solar distribution on the African continent. The estimate by the PVsyst software of the maximum annual power of energy supplied for operations is equal to 700 kwh for regions of South Sudan.
