Résumé:
the present work has been made to study experimentally the treatment of industrial textile
wastewater using coagulation-flocculation (CF). We studied the principal parameters such as
time and mixing velocity, settling time, coagulant and flocculant dosage (aluminum sulfate and
ferric chloride) and anionic chemical flocculant, initial pH and the effect of the addition of a
natural flocculant ( Opuntia ficus indica (OFI) pad juice) influencing the (CF) technique for the
Elimination of a dye in the textile industry (Red nylosan: Acid Red 336 ).
The application of the effective parameters to a real textile effluent (Tindal - M'sila) showed an
acceptable reduction of turbidity and COD.
The results obtained show that coagulation-flocculation is an effective method for treatment
of textile wastewater.
