Abstract:
This work presents a photovoltaic generation system connected to the three-phase network by combining the functionality of a parallel active power filter to improve power quality. The proposed system consists of a solar array, a three-phase voltage inverter connected to the grid and a non-linear load formed by a diode rectifier bridge feeding a resistive load in series with an inductor. The control strategy using hysteresis band is proposed to compensate the harmonics current and the reactive power as well as injection of the active solar power to the network. A global search method of maximum power point type (Perturb & Observe) is applied. The obtained results confirm the validity of the proposed methodology
