This study aims to shed light on the Feyerabend’s analysis of the scientific phenomenon. That
is for the great debate that his theory"epistemological anarchism" sparked in the scientific
philosophical world. It is enough that it undermined the most important concept in science,
which is the concept of scientific method. It refused the existence of a single method for science
because it applies several methods. Feyerabend sought to eliminate the dominance of science
over man, refusing to distinguish it from the rest of other knowledge, removing the character
of sanctification and considering it as a simple human production that interacts with various
human activities. Because, in his view, the contemporary science has become an ideology and
man has become its slave, after having invaded his life and enchained his freedom, Through
his approach. He tried to free him from the new slavery by restoring consideration for all
human knowledge, so his philosophy came to express an upscale humanism. We found in his
approach to originality, innovation and novelty what we did not find in other approaches. It
opened up new perspectives and insights into the study of the scientific phenomenon. |
